A Typical Meeting

A typical meeting might go something like this:

The library opens at 10:00am and the meeting is called to order as soon as everyone has gathered in the small conference room in the back of the library..

Announcements are made, and the moderator calls for members to announce any personal writing achievements since the last meeting. New guests are asked to introduce themselves.

The order of reading is announced, starting with carryovers from the last meeting if time had not allowed them to read then.

A five minute "bio-break" (restroom break) is declared at about 11:30 am.

Reading and critiquing continues.

At about 12:30 the last reader for the day begins.

The group adjourns no later than 1:00 pm. and those interested in sharing lunch move to the restaurant.
